Morning folks

Happy birthday America!!!

Thanks for the 4th wishes Carlos & ungeheuer, i'll have some beers for y'all so you don't miss the party
[beer]

I'm hoping for NO WIND tonight, so that the town here will set off fireworks.  I adore fireworks, but I guess the danger of an uncontrollable wildfire is reason enough to cancel them.

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

Ours are shot off over the the lake just around the corner from my house.  We're going to walk over to the golf course across the road from the lake and watch from there.

Happy 4th!  ;D

Our fireworks are being shot off from a barge, over the Pacific Ocean.

...you know, just to be on the safe side. ;)

Be safe everyone!

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Save the Brass...

the_Journeyman

Hopefully it won't disturb the whales.

I heard there were hampsters in Hollywood once.

Oh wait, we're not talking about hampsters.  Sorry.

While I've got the fairings off the SS, I'm taking dish soap (breaks up grease) and a scrub brush to the oil pan & front of engine where all that grime collects.  Gotta make her look good so she'll fetch top dollar!

I decided NOT to do the 18,000 valve check though, that'll affect selling price.  Seems I have to take the rear shock AND the battery pan/airbox off to get to the vertical cylinder.

Hope to meet you too Bick, even though you think I'm a dude ;)

Good scrubbing on the SS.  I didn't realize how much brake dust was on the front wheel...  It was a nice charcoal gray, but the actual painted color is MUCH lighter.  Guess I should clean my bikes a bit more often...

Anyway, it is drying and awaiting a coat of wax once it's completely dry.

I like that my M750 takes the low grade.  Full tank is <$10

I always put the hi-test stuff in my old M750...  But it got around 45+ mpg...  even when I was whomping on it!

The Triple-9  can get around 40-42ish... if I'm gentle.  I'm not usually gentle, though.  [evil]

I think I averaged around 35mpg during one particularly spirited run through the twisties.   :-\

Anyway, my folks are out here visiting from back East.  Gotta go...

Laterz...

Only way Gina wont spit small flames of her exhausts is using 95oct, US rating AKI, 98 Europe ...

And in city riding I get bout 35mpg and highway I get 50mpg ...
