You keep bandying that word about and I don't like it.

At least you have the decency not to put a modifier in front of it.

How's things, Nate?
I refuse to quantify/modify your day...

what it's like is up to you. ;)

You apparently didn't get washed away in the night
Nope....all is good...except the mess.

Mornin' DP, any more rain coming in?

Yeah later on today.

It won't take much to flood again.

Ground is saturated.

Same scenario as when hurricane Francis pushed a lot of rain here, then just a few days later, hurricane Ivan came through doing the same.  Major flood damage the 1st time, more the 2nd ~

There is a pretty good slide show of pics of the water/damage here.

Right side of the page.

Well, then, I'm pretty much screwed. I'm sore as hell from the gym. Stoopid 2 weeks of "everything hurts while you get back into shape."

Other than that it should be a light day. Got to sleep in because monthly security training doesn't start until 8. Should wrap up well before noon.

Morning JM, Dan, and anyone else who logged on while I was typing.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

It'll be "good" at best. Still far too wet out to really enjoy a ride through the twisties. But as long as I don't have to renew my pepper spray qualification, training should be a good time.

On a bright note, one of the local Harley dealerships is having a bikini bike wash tomorrow. I'm trying to coordinate with some of the other local Duc riders to roll in en masse.

Just walked down by the brook.

What a mess.

There's a section of the bank that's gone.

All the trees that lined the brook that were there are piled up, in the brook, along with a bunch of debris.

It will need to be cleaned up so the brook can flow.
