easy fix?
...and why does Mikey have a headache?
Hard to say.
I pulled the tank and drained the bowls to get out any junk in an effort to help my hard start problem. That's really just going the extra mile. I think a new battery cured that issue. Old battery was at least 5 years old.
While I was in there I checked out the cooling system. Fluid level in rad was good. Fluid to min mark on overflow tank. Rad cap valve functioned ok.
All hoses clear and not blocked. Yet with the temp Gage as it always is I would sometimes find overflow on the garage floor the next morning after a ride.
I was out today for a half our and really gave it to her. No puddle as of right now but I do see the level in the overflow is up 1/4" past the min mark.
Interesting.

Fluid level on water cooled Ducs is important to avoid 'puking'.
Maybe just overfilled all along?

It started last fall after I did the sas removal and blockoff plates and fmf pipes. I had ktm dealer jet it and reassemble. The put in engine ice.
First time was pulling up to the pump and it dumped a load. The nothing until a few weeks ago. Small spot in garage.
Then larger spot earlier this week and then again today.
Your guess is as good as mine.

I'm betting overfill.

It seems like it.
But I don't get the overflow starting last fall the stopping and then starting up a week ago.
Insert Twilight Zone music here.

Had an excellent weekend. My wife and I had it all to ourselves. Today we got the monsters out and went for a nice ride through the White Mountains. Last night went out for a nice dinner and during dessert she turned to me and said "We can make it to Home Depot and get that lightbulb." She's so romantic
On another note. Nate, I was thinking of you on Friday
Do you have a frostwall yet?
