Sounds like you just found a pond for the Water Boy.

Got any pics?
Nah...

I was in no mood. ;)

Standing in calf deep water/mud took the fun out of it for me.

You bet I did.

This wasn't my first rodeo.

my son is web searching my g-g-grandfather

and sending me all the snippets he finds...the man was pure evil...great writer and newspaperman

I sent him the ones I had..including one where he sold a barn that didn't belong to him to a Chinese guy and then he burned it down when the real owner got offended and the Chinese guy got pissed...no barn no crime right?

my son trumped me with an article about him killing some guy in a shooting

in gold rush Cali back in the 1800's

it is such fun when your family tree is Turd Tree

and you're on the lower branches
wow your family sounds like mine...my great-great grandfather started the stage coach near madera, ca & yosemite & apparently he was extremely mean..he hit my great-grandma over the head with a shovel when she was younger & it caused her to have seizures from time to time..my great-grandma eventually inherited her dad's money & her uncle stole it all from her by having her sign a document giving him control (he told her it was for something else)...my great-grandma, who apparently wasn't quite right probably due to the shovel incident, had 5 kids. one day she lined up 3 of them & was going to shoot all of them. she only succeeded in shooting one of them, who unfortunately died. she ended up living the rest of her life in a mental institution...

Figured last night filled your quota for a while.

Had fun.  Great dinner!  Thanks. [beer]

About time to do it all again.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

our man took a bullet in the face from his neice's husband up in Healdsburg...he lived, was on his feet in several days and kept going another 40 years with a hunk of lead lodged in the back of his skull...guess his brain wasn't a vital organ....anyway the Nephew in Law was fined 5 dollars for shooting him...I guess for failing to perform a public service properly...the article about it was classic Old West...I like your g-grandma...sounds like one of ours
