Trying to get motivated to start the day. I seem to be glued to my chair here in front of  the computer. As long as there is coffee in my cup, I see no reason to get up. The dog will need out, and I am already dreading having to get up, ready, and out.

Today starts two weeks of holiday leave (the salaried ones were celebrating; us hourly folk, not so much). On the bright side, it's time to prep for a brand new adventure: Starting in January, I'll be teaching a high school math class. If you'd seen me in high school math - or scrupulously avoiding the subject for the rest of my academic career - you'd realize just how surreal that prospect really is.

That, and I'll finally get some time at the forge to build up inventory for... well... maybe for next Christmas.  [roll]

I have a ground rod to install and a service outlet and the entire electrical service is done less the conductors.

Big chunk of time and money.
