Good morning....heading back north (to the state whose name shall not be mentioned)

in a few hours

The N.C. holiday was delightful for all despite the fact that the house interior is still very much a

work-in-progress list...

even the prime rib roast was cooked dead-on right

in the "ancient scary gas stove of great uncertainties"

but I need a month or so off from working on this place

the only way to do that is to leave it

We had a friend over for dinner. P set up a date to go wrestling with her.
