Alright, so the first 24 hours of 2012 have left a little to be desired....

Water Crisis.  

And now the IPSTAR satellite has gone AWOL so I'm here on dial-up.  

But..... I still do have interwebs... kinda  [laugh]... and I have the best neighbour on the face of the planet, the kinda crusty bloke who wont hear of any "thank yous".... but it was with his extended family that me and my family spent New Years Eve.. (even though Crusty Neighbour Himself had to go dig coal).....  and the water that's now gently filling up my water tanks, flows from his dam...

If any of you are fortunate enough to have neighbours like ours, you're doin.... alright  :).

I love people.  

Now, less chocolate and more gin  ;D.

Good morning all ... woke up a sometime ago ...

How's everyone?

Hungonver? Not me ... I went to bed at 0300h after what I saw were 5 bottles of pre-mixed sangria, 2 Freixenet DemiSec, 24 Bitburger Pils 330ml bottles[albeit not alone these] and it seems 0.5 liter of rum ....

Well, gonna walk dogs ...

The neighbour's cows will be in my paddock feeding tomorrow (but that was gonna happen water-gift or not).  At least now when they drink from my stock troughs.... they wont be using my water  [laugh].

I had a friend years ago...lost touch...

He always said "whatever you get in this life, you deserve".

I've struggled with the bad stuff and reveled in the good stuff...

and questioned the bittersweet...

but I think overall he was right. ;)
