ugh...back to the grind....

can feel my sphincter tightening up at the sight of three fresh screens-worth of priority emails

all stuff people put off over the holidays but now want to work on immediately

lack of planning on their part...

should not constitute an automatic emergency on your part.  ;)

Winters here.

We got clobbered. 19" yesterday and maybe 12-15" more this morning.

Everything's shut down. Working from home today.

Its safer.

Its lake effect. Its nice when it stays warm like it has. We get punished for it, though, when the lake doesn't freeze. Its just fuel for the snow machine and we get pounded for the duration .

My BIL in VT gets some off Champlain until it freezes too. It's so warm it doesn't usually last long though.

i have that sign at my desk, actually it says "lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part" ...i also have another one that says, "i'm not bossy. i just have better ideas"  :)
