Well, yesterday started off great.  Then...

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Have you been having trouble or did Buckethead send it to you?

It's all Bucket's fault!!

Well, actually...  The voltage regulator on the bike had started to get a bit iffy, so I slapped a new (to me) one on it on Friday.  Seemed to be working fine, as the check engine light went away immediately and it was "putting out" a steady 13.9v across the rpm range.  So I took the bike out yesterday, and all was well until the bike just shuts off while coming up to a stop sign.  Try to start it and all you hear is the starter go "click".  Finally got the bike home, slapped it on the 'tender and the bike starts right up after a couple of hours.  I'm thinking that the alternator might have gone poopy and the bike just shut down as the battery became so depleted that it would no longer fire the motor.  We'll see as I dig more into it later.

13.9 isn't necessarily good enough...

you'll figure it out.
