I've got a   update, hot off the griddle!

He's been busy with very important responsibilities...

...such as spending quality time with the 999 on the sunny mountain roads of Southern California...

...and quality time with a few very important people...

...I don't want to start rumors or anything...

...but there might have been a beautiful lady riding cupcake on the 999...


Seriously, though, he's doing well and he'll check in when he has some time.

I'm back from Cali, where it was between 70F-75F and sunny everyday.   

I spent a week hanging with great friends and some other great people, too.

The 999 got a pretty good workout, as well... 

As for the rumor of a beautifu Lady riding cupcake...  Does anyone really believe someone would be brave enough to sit on the back of the Triple-9 with me driving, let alone, a beautiful woman? 

Besides, there's no pics, so it couldn't have happened... Right? RIGHT?!   

I slept all day Sunday when I got home, 'cause I picked up something nasty from spending 6 hours in the germ tube called a 767. 

Yesterday, I spent running back and forth to my new college trying to figure out why my Financial Aid was denied.      As it turns out, I'm ineligible because I already have a Bachelors Degree. How make the beast with two backsed up is that?!       

Anyway, I was able to register for one class, then stayed glued to the 'puter checking every 5 minutes to see if another very important class opened up.  Finally, around 4:30pm it did, and I raced to the school and was lucky enough to get the last open spot in the class. 

So, I'm not really ahead of the game, but at least I'm not behind... 

Nate, the house looks great so far!

Lethe, I hope you heal up quick and get a new rear tire soon...

BTW, any of you know why the VA would say a "Writing for the Media" class would not apply to a "Mass Communication - Broadcasting" degree? VA says I have to defend my choice of this class.

They don't want to actively promote or encourage development of publicity skills....?

and considering the kind of publicity they generally get....

it might be understandable....

Up and getting ready for my interview. It is at a bakery so I hope it smells good! One of my fav childhood school memories is was in first grade taking a tour of a bakery in Buffalo and getting a warm slice of bread fresh off the line. They made brownies there too and we each got one with our lunch.

The house is looking like a house Nate!

Olefactory heaven right there.   

I would become obese if I worked at a bakery.  Tried waiting tables when I was 18.  Ate my weight in food every night and once had an eating contest w/the already large cook.   


Will be waiting to hear how it goes (and whether they give you any "thank you for coming in for the interview" samples)!

No samples, but have the next interview scheduled with VP!  Might get a tour then. I do not eat that much bread, so I would be OK!

i did a tour of the tillamook cheese factory in oregon a few months ago & between the cheese & the ice cream, i swear i would have moved in & lived there forever if they would have let me
