There was no fighting...

The gym, with it's sweet siren song, enticed me with open arms and the promise of an Adonis-like physique...

I was just dumb enough to believe that I could do "just one more set" of everything. 

I'll be back there this afternoon for some "easy cardio" and stretching...

I'll never get fit laying on the couch, eating peanut butter cups, either... 

Trying to change my diet, too...  But it's so easy to justify eating more after working out!

the gym is on my agenda today too.

need to work out the stiffness in my calves after 35 miles on the roadie yesterday.

but first, a haircut.

then lunch with Stella.

i weighed myself for the first time since the accident last night.
not as bad as i thought. i'm only at 204. however, the tummy i have developed from drinking and not getting any real exercise is bothersome.


words i never bel9ieved i would say - "i can't wait to start running again."

Delish lunch.  Then back to work for this one.  Hoping my head doesn't hit the keyboard....

Just leaving the gym.   

Ran a mile on the treadmill to get loosened up, then 30 mins of stretching.   

Then squats, leg extensions, and leg curls. 

10 minute cool down stretch and out...

I feel a lot more invigorated than when I left the gym yesterday.

Will try to do same as I did before to loose the extra, ham, turkey, eggnog and brioche that's still inside of me ...

For now, that's all ... need to go walk the dogs ...
