I just got a phone call from the school I interviewed with last Thursday.

I was offered a teaching position 3 days a week when I'm not going to school! ;D ;D ;D

I'm pretty excited.  It's a smaller school than where I was in CA, but it's in a decent location, and only 2 blocks from the train station, if I so choose to commute that way.   :)

On another note, my Uncle has been keeping my 1884 Springfield Trapdoor in his gun safe for me these last 8 years that I've been on the West Coast.  I hung out with him today and we took it out to check it over.  Still looks pretty good for a gun that's 128 years old...  [thumbsup] 

I'll be posting pics in the "Gun Stuff" thread shortly...   [evil]

T scored a pork loin at the local market for a pretty good price.

One piece is in the oven, another 2 ish pound roast in the freezer and 3 pound size hunks for stir fry.
