how much for it?
any problems?
how is it off-road?
i've heard that the steering head comes loose, and that the rear shock mount tends to bend/break when used in decently gnarly terrain.

It's either this bike or i find a ktm 640 adventure. (i'm really, really leaning orangewards

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

The best thing about owning a Beemer for a while is that it will convince you that Ducati-branded accessories are a real bargain.

I've seen 'em going for around 8k. This is my buddies who loaned it to me-he bought it new for 16k.
Fuel gauge stopped reading right (apparently a recall issue). Found out the hard way. One of the heated grips stopped working. That's been it for problems so far.
Not real great offroad-bent the subframe binning it in the dirt. Bit large/heavy for anything more'n mild offroading.

Maintenance easier that the KTM.

Everything involved with this bike is a ton of money ('cept for borrowing it). Goes great, nice power, brakes, comfy, smooth.

Probably does nothing you'd want given what else you're looking it. Still worth a test ride.

actually maintenance probably is a wash as the LC4s aren't crazy like the smaller race oriented singles

I've yet to see a simple KTM oil change.

Travis will just lay it on it's side to let the oil out, refill when upright. Simple!  [thumbsup]

I hadn't done it yet on mine so I didn't know what was involved.
so I just looked it up  [laugh]

so it's a pain in the ass, hardly something I'm going to lose sleep over though
glad I looked it up though as I was planning on doing it on one of these upcoming weekends as it's about due now

Pain in the ass is putting it mildly. I prefer the drain, swap filter, refill vehicles.

I hate routine maintenance-I will notoriously not do it.
