The snow is still falling here. 

A lot of stuff is closed, like the schools that they closed before it started snowing last night.

Stella made it to the airport, but I'm not sure that I believe her airline's claim that the flight is "on time".

I had a planned vacation day, so I'll spend it shoveling snow and taking the dog out to play in it (he loves that!).

I got news this morning that I have waited for since the late 70's. I have stepped on every crack I see chanting the rhyme "step on crack break your mothers back". Wishing for ones mother to break her back is not something one usually does. Lucky for me the mother in question is not really my mother.

I was adopted at 13. I went to live with them at 12. I only said yes to the adoption because I was afraid I would get sent to anther foster home if I said no. The mother in question has always been called the dbh, or dumb pregnant dog from hell.

The dbh had a stoke and is in a care facility. I gather that her overall health was not very good prior to the event. She seems to be near death.

I have waited and wished for her to die for a long time. She is mean, vindictive, and abused foster kids and the 5 they adopted. The abuse was physical and psychological. The later was worst.


She is very religious and I hope her beliefs come true for her. It has been my great desire that she gets what she deserves in the end.
