*venting*...i should probably post this in the no one gives a bleep thread, but hey im here, soooooo...

exes suck arse!! ok so, my last relationship was beyond traumatic for me. filled with all sorts of lies & broken promises. it has been over a year now since we broke up. i have tried to take the high road, even though there were some pretty unforgivable things done, i have tried to be forgiving & not hate the guy... so, fast forward to now.. i had a lot of things & mementos from our relationship. since im moving into my new house, im taking it as a fresh start & i just dont want the physical memories floating around anymore, so im getting rid of it all. either, donating or trashing depending on the object. in my effort to be nice, i sent him a message asking him if he wanted his army ring back. he was in desert storm & i figured the ring might be important to him. his response was yes, but he wanted me to take it to his dad's house. his dad lives in the same city as i do, he does not, so i agreed. well, ive been by his dads house a couple of times now with no answer at the door... so, ive sent the ex a couple of messages explaining this & asking for further info to help know when a good time to drop it off would be. the first time he didn't respond, the second time it was very short with a "why are you bothering me" tone.. im like hellooooo jerkface im doing YOU a favor not the other way around!!! i just really will never understand people.. life would be so much better if people just respected others instead of being selfish & self serving with disrespectful attitudes...

when I realized that if I was viscerally attracted to someone

they were probably the last thing I should go near

my personal life got significantly better
