If he could walk...

it would be easier.

Z is what you'd call an 'active' little boy. Constant motion.

Google images for hip spica cast.

You'll understand the dilemma.

maybe if you attached a roller skate to the casted leg... ;)
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

Seriously, when i am 800years old i want to rock like Lemmy! it is a religion that requires lots of determination, drugs, and Marshall stacks.

Ning.

I've been let out of the mine for a moment, thought I'd see what's happened in the last 67 pages. I gather Z is in a cast (hope he mends quickly), pollen, Travis is off chasing moose, and I'm guessing there's been widespread [coffee] consumption too.

I missed you guys!

It was great meeting "The Dude" at long last.   She brought us some epic beer.

i know its hard.. i totally do... i was just trying to say once the 3 1/2 weeks are over, he will be ok & eventually it will be a distant memory for him... but for the adults that have to watch & care for him, its traumatic.. i was just attempting humor :) ..keyword attempting ;)

Oh...

yeah...I know. ;) I was just making sure you understood it was going to be a 'drag' for him to get around...

get it...drag?

I'm fine...and even if I wasn't it isn't about me...if you catch my drift.

epic cast

[laugh]   has Stella seen it?

I second the roller-skates-on-cast movement.  Or does Z have one of those little scooters?

Good luck & speedy bone mending to Z!

seriously...

google a 'hip spica cast'.

It will be evident that any attempt at lower body motive power is useless. ;)

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Morning!

6 hours of sleep in a row!

I don't even know what to do with myself :)
