i thought you said cookies went straight to your hips?  ??? [laugh] [laugh]

any guess at when you think you'll be ready for drywall and paint? we're pretty good at that now-

My gut (which I don't really have because of my lack of cookies) really isn't the issue...

The attic is about 3' high...in the middle

the HRV just fits in the center of the peak leaving room for the ducting.

Doesn't leave much room for me... ;)

Morning

Does the hrv have filters that need service?

...that was ice cream... ;D

not really...

I'm still trying to get the outside finished.

The wind lately has slowed us down.

I'm thinking the drywall will be subbed out...at least the hanging and mudding/priming. I could do it, but it would take forever, and I want to be in this place for next winter. :P [laugh] [bang] [bang] [bang] [laugh]

We can add color.

Of course...you can open the door...slide it out of the way and access them. ;)

tight can be good as that means you left the space in the house for you not other crap
but it wouldn't be the first time I saw equipment go in without thought on how to maintain it later  [cheeky]

Like I said...

I can service the unit.

If a part fails I think I could still get it done without taking the unit down from the attic.

There will be a deck to lay on. :P

If it didn't fit I could put it under the stairs...the penetrations that were already in the gable end would have looked pretty stupid though. ;D

also it's little compared to the stuff I see normally squeezed into stupid places
nothing quite like seeing chain hoists having to be setup to pull a 100hp motor out of a unit where they ran all the piping in the way and the motor had to be lifted 12 feet over it to clear and then brought forward

yeah...the whole unit was 80 lbs in the packaging.

I don't think it will be a problem. If you can remove the access door you can service any part of the unit...and I can do that. ;)

I'd say stuff Z up there but that might be like using the Tazmanian Devil for service work, random parts will be flying down as he investigates.  [cheeky]
