I have a tougher time being dismissive to someone else as a human being once I meet them and find out they aren't so bad.
So again, I guess I'm just a bit soft and gullible

I'm usually the same way...

But, if someone repeatedly behaves a certain way, even after requests to modify said behavior, people will generally view them in a certain light.

Then again my opinion is just that....  Just as yours is yours.  You've met him, so you've seen a different side to him.  Maybe I would change my mind if I met him in person.  But to me, someone who deliberately stirs up shit and antagonizes others... Well, you see my point?

In my line of work, just about everyone has their own fears and misconceptions about me until the get to know me and see how I work.  But if I were to fail to prove myself otherwise, then their opinion stands and they're proven "right."

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I don't think I am, either...

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

I'm also more tolerant of bad behavior and have an unhealthy desire to see chaos unfold which is conflicted with an equal desire to have things run smoothly and easily.

Same here.  When he mentioned the "dickhead" with Toasty from a while back was when I suspected.  Or maybe when "Cayo"'s pompous arrogance was becoming more frequent in every one of his posts...

Either way....whatever.     [roll]

I have some crap the dentist put across the back of my bottom front teeth to hold them all together. They were too mobile and this gives them a chance for the bone to come back and tighten them up. It was achy for a little while and now it's just annoying because my tongue hits it when I speak.

I'm self appointed curmudgeony grumpy contradictory PITA today.  Not saying that that's what Bicks is/was but at least using my telepathic skills and posting on his behalf.   Today only.  Unless I have another middle of the night dog puke episode tonight and don't get sleep then tomorrow will be a personality repeat of today.   [evil]

And yes, coincidentally, I did hear from Bicks about 2 weeks ago.  A text saying "please fwd this URL to bacon junkie, thanks"

To which I responded, "I'm doing great, thanks for asking!".  Then we had a few nice, civil texts which included him sending a photo of him hugging a very attractive woman who he was going to visit.

So i think for the most part, he's doing well!   ("no news - or very little of it- is good news"?)

after 4 years of moving teeth, it's getting pretty old hurting all the time. I'm ready to have them off so I can eat without getting shit left over for a snack later  [laugh]
but i'll more than likely have a retainer to wear for awhile after....

Even though I've had a very good paying job for awhile now, I essentially had no dental insurance until recently.
Once my wife's insurance kicked in, we pulled off mine and both went on hers.
Now I'm getting some much needed work done and the insurance is covering everything but $50 a visit.
My mouth is a mess though so it's been many visits and many more to come.

I can understand that! But I just can't wait for the end result and see my beautiful straight pearly whites  ;D

plus my dentist is super awesome and is going to clean our teeth for free before the wedding  [thumbsup]
