I'm just curious at what point I won't be able to carry him.

Is it like a calf?

If you lift it every day you can eventually pick up a cow? [laugh]

My DR has absolutely no bother doing 120 with its big fat fuel tank acting like a dragster's braking chute....  8)

But then I realised that you're talking MILES an hour arent you...  [laugh]

WTF would you wanna subject yourself to that kinda velocity on the Orange Thing?   :o
yes mph
I've done it before just to see what it will do, turns out an indicated 117 which is around 114 on the gps (surprisingly accurate speedo)

the reason for it the other day was that I was with a guy on a Super Tenere and after making him do a slow death march thru the woods I figured it would be a nice change of pace to as we headed up 10 miles of real road to go grab lunch and fuel

You nutter  [thumbsup]

Unusually accurate speedo.....

The analogue clock on the DR aspired to inaccuracy but fell short of its lofty ambition.  It had to go.

At least the snow doesn't get so deep that you can't get into the woods in the winter.

'See' you tonight.

I think those birds made their way west. Wide awake at 0500. Only 45 minutes before the alarm. I am going to try jogging with Lucy every morning at 0700. She is much better on leash now. Plus she needs a routine for when I go back to work full time.

yet another friend had someone turn left in front of them this weekend. he didn't hit the car, just low sided.

he broke some ribs and his collarbone. Helmet had light scratches on it but he said he had double vision.
I told him it was from him gritting his teeth and crying after he picked up the scoot and rode home. (yes, rode home)
Life, alas is very drear. Up with the glass and down with the beer!

So, one of my sisters (one of the adopted ones) put a photo up on facebook (debil book to some here!).  I really can't remember who 3 of the kids are and one I thought I had never met.  They adopted 5 of us from foster care and had other fosters that did not get adopted. Here we are. Find LMT:

Spotted you right away. :)

That photo is now the 5th I have of me as a kid. Hardly ever seeing one makes it strange when I do.

And for the record, my adoptive parents were (still are) assholes that never should have been allowed to get kids. They make the beast with two backsed up theirs and then all the rest of us.

Got a job offer today and waiting to hear back on the other! Job offer #1 is not my first choice, but I know the people, believe in the work and they already have plans to move me to a better role. Job #2 is much better pay (double), more interesting work, 2 blocks from home. But, it would take all my knowledge to get up and running and all my skills to do well. It is more of a stretch.
