he was a painter.

They sold a few of his paintings for $100M last year and it will pretty much pay for the museum for a long time.

nope, still doesn't make sense.
it's different, and i kinda dig it, but multiple millions of dollars for it...nope.

my caveat on all this is that i am not an art person and i never will be. i have artsy friends, and i don't get it. just as they don't get why i like mechanical things and can get lost in drawings trying to figure out how things go together.

... took me 2 hours.... more than half of which was trying to break the bead on the outgoing Mitas tyre....   eventually had to employ one of these to get the job done..
