I was afraid my eyes were playing tricks.

What will the ceiling be covered with, and how do you plan on making it conform to the framing?
details, details

You realize I just make this shit up as I go along right?  cheeky

It will be some sort of wood. Probably will match the ceiling in the adjacent room where I did the thin planks on the ceiling.

I'll make it work somehow....hmmm metal would work too wouldn't it.....

sorry...

I've been planning/building a house with some 'unconventional' construction methods.

Details become reality in short order. Grin

I bet with 2 people you could make sheet rock work too. Wink

remember, I end up always working alone, so I have a sheet rock lifter.  Grin
One of the best tools I think I've bought. I've used it to help put up all sorts of stuff. Very handy.

2 layers of 1/4 in drywall. Did a lawyer's office that way with compound curves on the knee walls for the reception desk and the bulkhead above that match those curves. Worked great especially after misting the entire front and back lightly with water to allow some stretch in the paper backing.

On another note, it is official. Submitted my resignation today.
No tears yet but i expect them at the team meeting tomorrow when it is announced to the rest of the team.
The micromanager immediately asked me why.
Him: "Why are you leaving us?"
Me: "You are familiar with 'at-will' employment right?"
Him: "What's that?"
Me: "That means that I can leave or you can remove me without reason or cause."
Him: "I think that's illegal."
Me: "And that is one of the many many reasons I am leaving...you have no idea about a lot of things."
Him "..."

Is there any way you could film exchanges like this?  You could be gathering footage for a great new reality/comedy laughingdp

I'm not so sure it's a good idea for me.
Too much to do around here to skip out on a whole weekend.
Also, I really should replace my chain and sprockets and do a valve adjustment before I ride it a lot more. The valves are getting extra noisy.

Well you guys just suck.

At least Zilbert's reason holds water.

There's a KTM shop up the road.  We can do your chain and sprockets when you get here, Mike.

Have you done valves on these yet?
Riding out and then doing some maintenance while there might be a valid excuse to come.

I checked them on my 950 and helped DanTheMan check his 690.

Not sure if either are the same design as yours.

Looks like feeler gages, wrench and screwdriver would be all you need.
