evening...

no snow in upstate NY or here on the island....but windy and cold...long johns and 3 sweatshirts cold. ;D

30 square...and a friggin cupola...plus fixing storm damage.

All with a crew that never did a roof before.

I'm beat...but headed home tomorrow. [thumbsup]

Things have changed a little since my visit.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I heard that a lot of those buildings are funded and built by Cartels so that they can have some legit assets. There are supposed to be a lot of empty floors.

There were about 15,000 brand new cars destroyed at the ports in Newark. 

We (Toyota) lost about 4K alone as one of our vessels had off-loaded there about a week prior to the storm.  No, the ship couldn't have just circled in the ocean like a plane can when a storm is in the area.  And there aren't enough rail cars to move that many vehicles out of the area in a short period of time.

Estimate are that close to 250K vehicles were destroyed in the storm.  Katrina took out 600K.
