well, I raised a few in everyone's name tonight . . . don't think I'll be able to meet with Miami buddies again this week, aunt gave me bad news regarding my cousin, one of them, she has cancer and it has spread allover the place, no symptoms, suddenly lack of energy and appetite was what made her go to doctor . . . she is like my older sister . ..

Well I turned a tragedy into a saved the evening event.

We were out of ice for the rum and cokes. Fortunately I was able to get some ice from outside. My lawn is covered in it. Problem solved.

this may sound callous, rat, but thank you for reminding me that my life could be worse.

i wish there was something more than mere words on the internet could do, or that i was able to do more than offer my sympathies. i'm sure things will change, they always seem to. (for the better even!)
