Morning ...it is a new day...windy...the air is clean and clear,

crisp gusts sweeping away the sorrows and debris of the past days and weeks

making room for the uncertain promise of future days

I went and got a Lionel freight train set to put together in the basement for when my daughter comes with my grandsons

Tracked down a Norfolk Southern Dash-8 diesel Loc and some N-S rolling stock on ebay to build up the set

N-S has a huge freight yard down in the River Arts District in Asheville

my grandson loves to watch those trains for hours.....

I think he will get a kick out of running his own scale version of the same ones he loves to watch in the yards   :)

thanks for the condolences folks

I had a really good day.  Sunny, warm.... the perfect summer's day  8)

Went  [Dolph] with Johnny O'Buell...  didnt get going until midday due to Jameson's cobwebs...  Late lunch in Maffra and still made it to Dargo and back home in time for dinner.  Some great riding along those roads..............  and I'm loving riding the Monster again..... and love living in a place where there's so much fabulous  [Dolph] country.

Happy me  8).

while our ground is snowy white this morning
sounds like you had a good day :)

Waiting for the Sanitation Crew to come up the street, got their annual holiday tip envelope ready

aside from being a nice gesture these guys REMEMBER....I can haul anything to the curb all year

and they toss it in the back, no rejections or questions and they keep on rolling

and at the rate my family's going I might be rolling up bodies in rugs and putting them at the curb

I know these guys are up for the task  ;D

It's impressive what a 24 pack of bud and a couple $5 bills can buy you the rest of the year.

I was amazed at how quickly the bud was consumed at 6:15 in the morning.

Morning.  Sounds like things are right in here this morning.   [thumbsup]

The up side of insomnia: finding a good rental online to keep you awake even longer.  Watched a documentary of some people floating for 30 days down the Yellowstone river.  Socio-ecological type doc.  Gorgeous scenery and music they put to it.

Signing off. LOTS to do today and not much time.

Signed, nature girl.

I dislike the chore that is firewood.

That is all.
