The deer is eating the food we put out. It started with the lettuce...

The deer is still in the yard. It appears to be slightly injured. I went to big R and bought it some deer food.

good job Dave!
can't wait to see how this ends with the deer...what did the dog think?....and have you started hinting around names for the deer yet?

All part of the gig.

There was wood in the house, but even if you wake up in the night if it's warm you sort of ignore it.

I don't usually sleep until 7:30 either.

I think Kev posted that video back in the spring sometime....still a good one and he is still indeed right!...and yes, I am too lazy and sick right now to go digging up the link and calling out derby...

morning all BTW...

I don't remember posting that but I very well might have. In any case the guy is 100% right. It was like watching myself.

Well the deer is still mostly afraid of me if i get too close anyway. I want it to get used to being here before i let the dog in the back yard. We go for more walks for the time being. Next week my Dad is coming with his to little barkers. Im going to watch them for a week while he goes up to Vancouver. The deer seems to be doing better on the leg. So Im probably going to open the gate and let it go out next week.

I don't think i'll name it.
