hings you'll need…

27 tons of Bacon
1 â€" 1 1/2 pounds of milk chocolate. (amount varies upon strip and pop corn size, better to have more than not enough)
60 pieces of caramel pop corn

Makes 30 bites

Begin by placing half of the Bacon in the freezer for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Take the other half and pan frying the strips. As soon as they're crispy golden, remove them from the pan. Immediately cover the strips with paper towel and roll them with a rolling pin to create a flat surface for the pop corn.

Be Careful, They're Hot.

Place them off to the side.

After the 15-20 minutes has elapsed, remove the chilled Bacon from the freezer and dice it in to bit sized pieces.

Pan fry them in small handfuls over medium low heat. Remove them from the pan and pat dry them with a paper towel. Set them to the side to cool.

Now cut each strip in to 3 even pieces.

Next, begin melting your chocolate. Once tempered, add a small dollop of chocolate to the tops of each Bacon piece. The chocolate acts as a binder.

Add two pieces of pop corn to the chocolate. Drizzle more chocolate over the corn and cover with Bacon Bits.

Allow to set for approximately 2 hours on the counter top.

Do Not Refrigerate.

plate, serve, and devour.

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I'm aware there are fires ongoing (its summer, so unfortunately its par for the course)...... but I dont smell any smoke.
Maybe I spoke too soon.

Air is thick with smoke this HOT and windy day  :-\

No present danger on our doorstep but in small communities 100kms to our north.... today may not be a good one  :(
