Gives me something to focus on. The code is easy to remember. The math blows. I am dyslexic and flip numbers. Makes lead exposure calculations hard. Learning to read was hard too. It all came together in third grade. My teacher worked with me all that year. By the end, I was reading on a 6th grade level.  The math never clicked. 8 schools in 12 years probably had something to do with it.

I used to tutor math if anyone needs help.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Back from a long rainy weekend at the beach. Beautiful apartment, lovely views of leaden skies and grey seas.
Went for a swim with littl'un and big'un but actually seemed to get wetter out of the water than in it.
Sure was good though to catch up  with friends and rellies over a few cold ones.

Hey Ung, haven't seen the cricket scores yet, how'd your team go?  [evil]

Ah, pity about the weather brimo.  << said with sincerity (no, really:)

Down here in Victoria though:  Sunny one day, perfect the next  8)

At 39°C its perhaps just a bit too hot to be perfect today.... air a little smoky too.

Cricket?  The VICs went quite well mate, came second on the day  ;D.  Wonder which team we'll be playing in the final?  Maybe QLD can make it now after their most recent win?  ;)

Glad you had a good weekend despite the weather [thumbsup].

Back to work in the morning. It is a holiday. Presidents Day. I had off Friday and will work tomorrow. Only 4 of us will be there! I can play my music loud and goof off.

lethe

Got up, showered, got all ready and was about to head out to the car but decided to check the schedule to see where other people would be today so I know what possible calls to expect. I knew today was President's Day but forgot it was a paid holiday for us. That sure would have been a wasted trip. No sense going back to bed now.

More Ning.  [coffee]

No paid holiday for me so Hi Ho, Hi Ho...
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
