morning . . .

company owner will work normally today, so, the plans to run the errands I needed, got scratched . . . but, might ask for the afternoon, need to go rent a car for the next few days since car is going to the shop tomorrow to have the timing chain replaced, check a weird oil leak and also a water leak . . .

well, off to the kitchen to make breakfast

Made it all the way to work...  to find I left my keys at home.

No one else gets in for a couple hours.

Don't want to make the 50 mile r/t just to get keys.

WiFi in the hall, outside the door, so can still work.

Only half cup of [coffee] left from commute. 
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

When is it acceptable to not jump when the boss asks you to jump?  

When he calls the night before (in this case, last night - 12 hour lead time) and asks if you can go on a two day trip.
