Top o' the morning to you Brimo.  What's on tap for the weekend?

In other news:  I need a crazy magic 8 ball.   My gut must be on vacation because it usually is my indicator with bigger decisions (in this case, job change).  Magic 8 ball should do the trick, right?

Did you sell "my" bike yet?

Not yet.  Put it up on ebay and have received a fair amount of interest on it, including three offers with dollar signs.  One was laughable ($7500), the second was a little warmer ($10,000) and the third better still ($12500).  Still hasn't hit that magic number though.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

A quiet one this weekend, spot of lawnmowing, nappy changing, cooking and cleaning. Nothing on tap, it's a dry weekend as I'm on call for work.
As for job change, might have one myself, got the news yesterday that our contract expires 31 August and we will have to re-tender (if that's a word). I reckon only about a 50% chance of winning it again.

The company I work for has a contract to provide operations and maintenance to a state government department. The contract is due to expire and the govt. department has decided to go out to the open market for the new contract. However there is a lot of specialised knowledge built up over the last 5 years within our company that would be very useful to whoever gets the new contract. Most of our guys would probably get a job with the new contractor, however the conditions may not be as good. I'm not too worried as I'll always get something, my particular skillset is always in demand.

A cynic :P

Commercial building and industrial control systems and instrumentation maintenance and commissioning is what I know best, but at the moment they pay me to inspect and operate their pump stations, chemical dosing  and water quality monitoring. (and fill out reams and reams of paperwork that nobody ever reads)

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I like the Paso. Saw one as a teen and made my uncle keep circling around so I could get a good look at it.

+1

In 1987 as a fumbling teenager, during my weekly visit to the local Yamaha dealer, I saw my first Paso.  It was a 750 Limited.  It moved me.  No joke, I would visit it once a week.  I was sad when it sold.

Fast forward to 1995.  I bought my first Ducati, a Pearl White 750 limited.  It was my first bike, didnt know how much false neutrals, dead starter switches, 5 speeds and unavailable tires SUCKED!

I learned how to roll start like a champ, and there was a clock on the dash!

Even though it was a high maintenence Italian B, I still loved it.

Puke all you want!

It has been a day of monkey work. Meaning a monkey could do the work. Maybe better! This morning I stuffed bags with 6 small items for our open house on the 27th. I made 150 of them. Just now, I placed two flyer's in a folder. 100 of them.

Can't wait to get home.  [beer]

Even a painter can count to two...

I might make the grade as a monkey.
