Had a nice lazy weekend.

Spent a little time this afternoon sampling:

and taking notes.

All four are great in their own way.  The Wild Turkey has a little too much burn (101 proof) for my taste, but good flavors.  The McKenzie is my new favorite.  Blanton's was excellent, like always.  The Basil Hayden, my old favorite, just seemed a little flat compaired to the others.

They're okay.

Don't seem to cool as much I thought or hoped.

Generally use just one due to size of glass, maybe they would cool better with more per glass.

Egg and sausage sweet rolls for breakfast this week are finished.

I love the way baking makes our apt smell.

Steak, stuffed clam, artichoke, twice baked potato.

Not sure what is coming for desert, but I'm sure it is something  [drool]
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

You probably keep a few in the cupboards for snacks.

One of the few nice things aboard ship is mid Rats.

Its better than deer. Really good stuff.

Listen to the man.  He speaks the truth.    [drool]

Pecan, red pepper and brown sugar crusted chicken breasts in the oven, kale salad and sweet potato hash. The 4 slices of bacon this morning and a few munchies at the baby shower are just barely keeping me from eating my empty glass of OJ.

Bet Carlos would even go for an MRE right now.

That's Ok the days are getting longer and slowly getting warmer in these parts.
Pretty much all the ice is gone now and the day started off above freezing this morning. In another 2 months things will be pretty summer like. Or at least spring like.

..yeah, you're heading in the right direction now Mendo Dave [thumbsup]

Pretty soon daylight saving time will end here, the nights will get cold and evening's darkness will descend amongst us in an untimely manner.  At least the curtains wont fade so much (brimo will be along soon to explain that one  ;)).
