I have to decide on a vinyl cutter.

It shouldn't be this hard to get masks made...did I ever tell you the story about the seven second delay?

seems that every vinyl guy I ever deal with can't open this file or that file...

I'm not a computer whiz, but if you can open a vector file (.eps) one week you should be able to open it the next..

sounds to me like vinyl guy needs to upgrade his software.
he couldn't open v3 illustrator .eps either?

Most of the vinyl machines out there use corel....doesn't play nice with adobe.

T and I were at a bar talking with our friend Jack.

He made a comment directed at T referencing blondes which cracked me up.

She just stood there with a blank look.

I started counting...when I got to seven she finally reacted to his jab...

I own my own signshop, do full colour digital printing and vinyl cutting.

From my experience you need a 610 mm vinyl cutter, preferable a Roland, the cutting software that comes free with their cutter works with .eps files.
I use Corel X3 and Adobe Illustrator ( CS 3 Package ) and have no problems to cut any files.

the guy should update his software... he'll go out of business if he doesn't...
dumbing down files will eventually tick off all of his customers.
