Did my good deed for the week. Walking home from happy hour (2 blocks from home) I see a young woman sitting on the sidewalk crying. I stop to ask if everything is OK and see if there was anything I could do. Come to find out, she has been clean and sober for 8 days, got lost trying to find the recovery cafe (they moved) and was at wits end.  She had no phone, but did have her sponsors #. I called it, they talked for a minute, and then I waited with her till the sponsor got there to pick her up. Come to find out, Stormy (the girl) is a leap year baby too. She grew up in Montana on a reservation.

I hope she makes it to day 9.

What is your Lucille?  IPA?

Have a few sweet potato tortilla chips in the house.  May hit those next.  Then perhaps the popcorn but that is feeling like a lot of work.   I wasn't planning on a long (but not bad) meeting at the end of the day so got home later than normal on a Friday, then phone calls....  All the gumption I had got up and went.   [thumbsdown]

Alarm is going off early tomorrow so laying low isn't too bad.

PNW IPA! My local bar had the Georgetown Ale on tap everyday, but not always the Lucille.

Watching Copper on Netflix now and finishing off the growler I opened last night.
