I looked it up. [thumbsup]
Fine.

I'd finished being useful for today anyway.

Worked my bloody arse off today rounding up all the (alright not absolutely all of them... but a LOT) daggy downed branches which needed to be burnt.  Raging bonfire season is short around here so gotta make the most of it.

And right now?  Jamesons time  [beer]

I appreciate the effort.

I would have posted this... http://bit.ly/11J1RIp   ;D

We can burn from Jan 1 to Apr 1 any time of day with snow cover or otherwise with a permit. During the day it has to be actively raining. At night it doesn't.

The reasoning, they claim, is that the spotters in the fire towers won't be distracted by controlled fires during the day.

If only a backyard bonfire was acceptable in the 'burbs of Brisbane. Fallen palm fronds, bane of my existence, next house will not, repeat not, have any bloody palm trees in the yard.

Burning season here isnt so rigidly defined.  Depends on how hot/dry it still is as to how soon after summer we're allowed.  Each Shire has it's own rules - neighbour's farm straddles the border of two Shires, so its possible he could burn here.... but not just over there  [roll].

Often there's only a few weeks of burning in practical terms from being allowed to it being too wet.

Everything here seems to be rigidly defined these days. :-\

Nope...

but for far too many it seems absolutely necessary. [bang]

People have little common sense these days.

No siding today.

Today is opening day for T ball.

There's a parade and team pics at 9:30 this morning and Z's first game is at 11:30.

Siding would be faster paced... :P

I'm corner working at the track Monday, riding is still on the back burner until the house is done 'cuz I fall off regularly. ;) After some of the situations I've found myself in working on the house I wonder if motorcycles are really that dangerous. [laugh]

Back to siding Tuesday am.
