What is so hard about the decision to sell vacant land?

"They" need to make sure that we do not owe back property taxes, garbage fee, water bill, etc. And bringing it before the common council allows anyone to protest the sale of the property to us....

(I can not say more for fear of breaking board policy)  

Hope the MD's appt goes well.  Are you still running?  I know I always sleep better when I exercise regularly.

I was offered $20 to give a fake back once. I laughed. That amt is hardly worth getting fired over. Also, it was a really bad fake.

when I was working door in Adams Morgan at a couple places, we had a Unifomed Division Secret Service agent who'd come by and buy all the fakes for his "collection"....he was using them to demonstrate the current techniques of what was being manufacturered and he'd pay $10 ea for most and there were the occasional unusual ones he'd pay $20...

I had a University of MD girl present to me a real ID that was clearly not hers when she was on a "bar crawl" that was bussed in from campus one night and I kept the ID and she sat there wailing all of the woe is me stuff for like 5 minutes while I was checking and admitting a whole bunch of her legal friends and they were laughing at her....finally I told her to go up the street and get a $100 cash from the ATM and I'd give it back to her...when she came back, we transacted and I told her to get lost...

the major problem in that situation is that the bar crawl was put together by someone that got 4 busloads of students from campus together and did a fairly poor job of ID checking and expected that we wouldn't be rechecking the participants...the kids paid their fee and got "checked" and a wristband saying they were part of the event and expected to go bar hopping without being rechecked at quite a few of the places...

That's all.  Slammed at work, trips coming up, people to see, other places to go....   

Guy w/the 796 in KS said he's brokering a deal on it right now but I'm welcome to up the ante if I wanted.  Wouldn't be able to even get there for at least two weeks, let alone ride.  And then there's the few lbs that need to find a new home in order for me to fit back into the britches.


On that note, I'm hungry and need to go drive a few hours.

Local PD seems to dislike our bar. One in particular dressed down a doorman for confiscating a real ID that wasn't the girl who presented it. Our rules are that real IDs are given back and entry denied in that case unless they go to all 3 doors. Then we can confiscate the real ID. Fakes always get taken. The bar has a huge collection ranging from "why did you think this would work" to "wow, this is really good"

I like to look at the fakes from time to time to remind myself what to look for

No tips. I just don't make much and wasn't getting enough hours.

well . . . always went in to clubs and bars when I was underage and never, not a single time was I asked for an ID, the only time they asked for my ID back in the day, I was already 18, where I come from with 18 you can 'legally drink and get into clubs' . . . and the doorman was shocked, he had been letting me in for almost 2 yrs
