Headed out of town for work today.  Only positive is I'll be forced to sleep in a bed instead of my chosen spot on the living room floor & sofa near "Oliver 696".   ;)

Is it more important that he eats or gets the meds at this point? I say feed him the smallest bits possible so he eats.

Leaning that direction Mary.  Tried the pain pill last night then gave up.  Anti-biotic is the other pill.  We just struggled, think shoved it too far down his throat and possibly hit his gag reflex so what he did eat he just tossed up.  Hoping it was the gag reflex. 

Waiting an hour to feed him again.  Just food no pills. 

Cone is temporarily off. Randy is home.  Keeping an eye on him.  If you see any posts by him, ask him if O's cone is on or off.  If off, tell him to get off the computer so O doesn't rip his staples out in a nanosecond.    ;)

Sunday afternoon I was goofing off on the deck of my friends boat, which was rocking in waves from the wake of another boat.  While trying to keep my balance, my left knee gave way with a pop and a jolt of pain.  I couldn't and still can't put any weight on my left leg.  After a visit to urgent care and the physical therapist, I'm on crutches for a week to see if it gets better with RICE and physical therapy.  If not, then its off to the doctor to start talking about surgery.  [bang]
