Hey dp.  Sounds like you made a decision.  :)

ducpainter

Pretty much...

based on economics.

Sorry to hear about your bike dp.   :'(

If it makes you feel any better my yellow ST4 did not make it home from a trip, again.

It is still in Asheville, NC awaiting pick up from shipper.

Now I am bikeless.   :'(

I hear ya.  Economics rule a lot of my decisions.  Cool Ducati belt?  Nope.  Looked at cameras, but nope.  I even passed on new socks the other day.  I love new socks.  Best thing next to new shoes.  I am saving for a trip in the fall.

Have a great saturday everyone.

Off to the farmer's market.  [thumbsup]

Stock 750 with a slipper and light flywheel....hot rodding possibly in the future.

I'm not on a 4V budget....either for maintenance...

or tires.

I wonder what else mechanical will break.

We lost power...

went to start the generator...naturally the float stuck.

Pulled the plug to clear the cylinder of fuel...

motor locked up....wtf?

Pulled it apart...

A screw had fallen in while I was pulling it over and jammed the thing.

I hope the nick in the piston has no long term effects. :-\

DP, part out the ss, use the monster for now, collect some coins from the sofa and wait for the right bike to come along.

Some has to have a track ready ss or maybe even a 748.  How much harder can the belts and valves be for the 4v (i just had to write that.)

Things'll get better.  Stuff like this always happens for a reason.
