shop is coming along . . . 2 more bikes to prep . . one MTS1200 and one Diavel Strada . . . and I must publically admit, I do like the new HyperStrada . . . a bit tall, but I do like that bastid . . .

How is the Diavel to ride?

at slow speeds, you feel the weigth, once you hit bout 20mph, it's gone . . . the Hyperstrada on the other hand, it's a bit tall for me but, once moving . . . it's a breezee .. . .  not the torque 'monster' we're used from 2V or the 4V motors, but it goes quite well . ..  the MTS1200 . . . it just goes . . .

Carlos - I really think I could enjoy a Daivel.  I got to ride an early (before the huge rear tire) VRod and it was nice.  I figure a Diavel is a similar bike, but better in quite a few ways.

NO, the Diavel can take turns, you lean and I mean you CAN LEAN . . .  and it will go, I was just turning under 5K-RPM on 4th and out of habit open it full . . . DANG !!!!!! very high triple digits . . . and almost 8K . . . it brakes so good, that I felt I had to hold against the steering bar to not go forward . . .

The Diavel does some stirring but the ground clearance is an issue. The chassis is so much more capable. If they could blend the MTS and Diavel would make the perfect two up sport tourer. Actually the MTS is just a bit on the tall side.
