How was Monday?

Monday was warm, cloudy, little humid.  Kinda broody.

Salt Mine was very quiet...  hence my part in the aforementioned amokness.

Wednesday's phone screen got bumped up to today. Spoke on the phone for an hour with the director of Safety for Ocean Beauty. Going in later this week to the Seattle office to fill out some paperwork and am now waiting for a call from the Kodiak plant manager. Not job yet, but made it past round one!

The director did the job there for 2 years and the current guy is leaving for more money. They like my EMT background. I have been waiting for it and safety to merge!

Would it be a relocation to ...remote-ish Kodiak.... or FIFO?

Relocate! The plant runs year round with the peak season being June, July and August. The 40 hour work weeks goes away then and everyone works 18 hour days. Lots of down time and vacation in the Sept - Dec months.
