On Lemons;  Last year I made a poor decision and dumped 10k on a used BMW 330i convertible.  40 miles from the dealer on comes the check engine light, 20 miles later the ABS light.  Two days later the clutch....  Long story short the car was a serious POS and the dealer I bought it from laughed at me when I told them to take it back. 

Rather than sue them I took another approach.  I grabbed five of my crew guys and made some big signs and picketed their lot on a busy Saturday.  Now keep in mind this was at an auto mall so all the dealers are very busy on weekends.  Not one person crossed the picket line. 

The next day we came back out to do it again and they offered to buy the car back plus the $500.00 extra I demanded for the PITA.  The next day I was returning the car and the engine blew (after an insane 30 minutes of pure off road rally driving on the property) so it went back on a tow truck and I still got my money.

I gave up suing businesses a long time ago and have used this tactic three times over the years to deal with those I have wanted to sue.  Quite honestly it is quicker and easier than court.
Two things I don't do.  Keyboard bullies and hypocrites.

Hello all. I woke up in a funk that I have not been able to shake all day. My life has a lot of things happening in it right now and the weight of it is catching up with me. My goal for the past couple of weeks to ignore as much as possible till after my birthday.

Because who really needs to turn 50 while being a big stress ball! Not me.

Let's hope I can make it a couple of more days before falling apart.
No news yet on the job front, condo offer was low, so we countered. We have an assessment to pay and the potential buyers don't want to pay it. Like I do? Waiting to hear from my agent this afternoon. Dating is good, but kind of stressful too.
The only option I see right now is to sell the Jeep and buy a crap car so I can meet all the financial things I need to.

Ignore me, just venting in a safe place  [laugh]

edit to add some good news - An old friend is in town and we are going out to dinner tonight. Brad and I used to go hear music all over SF Bay area. We got kicked out of Slims once during a Dick Dale concert.  [laugh] The next time he was in town we went to the show and he remembered us! We did not get booted again.

Nail holes filled...

walls caulked...

and all the scrap and some other stuff is out.

More cleaning tomorrow and Friday.
