ningtastic day, everyone!

I took today and tomorrow off.  ;D

I get a new job classification next month*, so I should probably enjoy it. (*unless things don't work out as management plans and they revert to plan b, c, or d).  [roll]

It is a blue sky day here.

But we are forecast for rain & snow starting tomorrow night.  :-\

Not really a bad thing since the new landscaping could use a little sip of water.  Speaking of the landscaping, it looks like all but one of the shrubs made it through the winter and the grass is starting to green up a bit.  [thumbsup]

I got green grass for ya right here... [roll]

Were I living where you are each day would start out with a spearfishing trip off a local beach.  That would be followed by drinking fruity drinks with umbrellas in them whilst watching girls dance in grass skirts (or bikini's).

I would of course follow that up with riding my bicycle down a steep mountain to another bar to finish what I started earlier and look at even more girls in bikini's and grass skirts while doing so.

Bored?  Teddy you need to get the make the beast with two backs out of the house my man!

Hello, good news, lunch was quite decent today, bacon wrapped steaks and mashed potatoes . . .

Told rowdy guys my feelings about their late arrival at the hotel this AM, they didnt like my tone, as if I gave a f**k what they like or not; also informed them about me already having informed their boss in ecuador and both instructors were not happy either,

It's been one of those  [bang] weeks.  Today is no exception.

One of several dealios already today:  Pick up my first love, '99 Cherokee, from the dealership after dropping it off to find out why the check engine and check gauges lights are on.

Need new battery.  Great.  No problem.  Add oil change, new fluids.   Get dropped off, pay, drive off.... Check engine light still on.  Turn around.  Tests on the service drive:  oh, could be the alternator.

I'm fine with that but it's the details, like, oh, I don't know, maybe checking to make sure that everything is as it's supposed to be BEFORE telling the customer everything is good?  And maybe don't charge me a battery disposal if you're going to leave the old battery in the car?

I have no patience lately with people.  Coincidence that I've greatly reduced my alcohol consumption....  hmmmmm.....    ;)

Rant over.

Hope the snow doesn't stick around too much longer, new englanders and the cow continues to become less chewy, Carlos!

people suck.  and why would you cut down on drinking if you don't have to?  ??? I don't understand this concept  ;)

Ning....

I find my tolerance reducing as my age increases.
Coincidentally I also generally drink less these days...

Teddy my body just likes to tell me when it thinks I have too much...

mornin' needles

I suppose that's a good enough reason to 'have to' but I still imagine it would be a gradual pace, not so much, 'Hey, I kinda stopped drinking'

While having beers with a friend, I decided to do an IronMan 70.3 in June.

[bang]

So, once that's done, I'll be back to my happy, lushy, tolerant of most people, self.   ;)
