Spoke to the ebay seller yesterday.

I made some incorrect assumptions.

The culprit in this fiasco is UPS...

Go figure.

What has brown done to you lately?

The story I got...and I believe it...is the seller sold 4 of the same item previously. The material is corrosive and therefore hazardous. UPS picked up and delivered all 4 packages.

UPS decided that my shipment would be rejected because the sellers hazmat permit was not of the correct classification...which technically it isn't.

He tried to get the manufacturer to ship a case out ASAP, but they dropped the ball.

So here I sit...stuck in the middle.

UPS didnt run the Brown ad campaign Down Here... or any ad campaign at all AFAIK.

So it kinda woulda been a leap for me, magic as I am  ;D
