yep.

busy, busy.... too much going on to not be available when needed. meetings just spring up out of nowhere, proofs are being delivered via courier (who waits in our lounge while we review), i was also assigned a new account which is awesome, but time consuming.

so for now, i'm back to 400 miles a week  :)

with normal traffic - 60 min. door-to-door

if there isn't traffic, cops, or left lane hogs - 45 min. (usually at night if i leave after 7pm)

I can see why working at home was so attractive.

On another note...

I'm sore today. I have to lug those sanders back to the rental outfit and clean up the kitchen area for the counter guys.

How did the sanding come out? 

I'm afraid of letting those machines (with me at the helm) near hardwood floor.

B's last day is tomorrow.  Only thing he is getting as a severance package is his unused vacation, luckily he has over two weeks.  And "we won't deny your unemployment claim."

Oh well....

Time to move on.

The future is what you make of it and I see it getting better (though not easier).

Can't speak for TiNi, but I spend many hours each day driving from client to client. Most of which I'm on the phone handling matters and getting things moving along. In the mornings this works out well as our HQ is on the east coast.

In the afternoon hours it allows me to catch up on missed calls.

The rental outfit refunded the cost of the edger and didn't charge me for the paper.

I think I'll use my DA for the edges.

Howdy all.
Going to bed soon as my wife is off the phone to her mother.
I used to have an hour and a half drive in city traffic each way for work. Hated it.

Well...

I'll let you know tomorrow after lugging that drum sander down the stairs, into the truck, and out of the truck at the rental outfit. ;)

Now I have to go dig a 6 foot long slab of marble, out of a room in the barn, that will soon be the downstairs bathroom vanity top so the stone guy can take it with him.

On second thought...give me a week to let you know. ;)
