He told me he was skipping the birthday thing this year...he'd had enough of them. ;)

I sanded for about 5 hours yesterday.

I'm getting close to being done upstairs...at least the stuff on my hands and knees.

Counter guys are coming today to finish the back splash and the b/fast bar.

There is only one way to be done with birthdays.

Ung has his first day today right?

Going to ride my bicycle to work!

ducpainter

Yesterday was ung's first day.

They probably had him swinging a sledge hammer all day. ;D

Quick, move two of the outlets over 3"-video the hilarity.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It turned out I didn't have to.

They make the beast with two backsed it up all on their own.

I wasn't amused.

It's gonna be a cluster make the beast with two backs.

The riser was 2 pieces. They weren't cut square intentionally to account for framing 'irregularities'.

When the installers came last week they opted out of cutting the outlet holes due to the proximity to the bottom edge and the fact the way they cut it in the field might have the bottom piece fall out...so they sent it back to the shop to have the holes cut.

The reason was there is no more material.

The guy at the shop that cut the holes flipped the two pieces and put the holes in the wrong piece relative to their location on the wall.

There still is no more material.
