I got a Vee Two hub/drum (495gm), Nichols basket (368gm), mixture of Barnett and OEM alloy plates, Corse Dynamics Ti spring bolts, TPO springs and keepers. All up, nearly 2 kg off the clutch and a kilo shaved off the flywheel.

You gotta take off the drum anyway to change the basket, might as well..[evil]

I have a dp pressure plate and springs (not sure which) and retainers. I think it is heavier than std. We are going to weigh when we remove. Soon to be the evr basket/plates...
Std flywheel. Bit more work swapping that out. I saw he gad a Nichols lightened for sale also.

Yeah, I painted the stock pressure plate and used it as it was lighter than many aftermarket at 300-310gm. It would have to be a pretty light pressure plate for me to consider swapping it out as I run a stock early alloy clutch cover.
I wonder what that Shinobi plate weighs?

I read that. Wasn't sure if you achieved total victory yet. So you finished with the palm sander and just used the stripper on the trouble spots?
So it's victory via chemical weapons? ;)

It will be.

I sanded the trouble spots all day with little progress and thought...

this sucks. I made little progress on the edges because I got started on the white areas.

Had some stripper in the shop and gave it a go in a hidden spot. I'll get back to it Monday. I've had enough for this week

It's really too bad this product didn't work out. It would have worn like iron.

Those products that wear well are great til you gotta take em off or touch them up. I painted my race fairings in old fashioned acrylic for years. It was particularly useful in my first year of racing. ;D

It's quiet coz all you Americans are out riding while I'm hibernating.
