Teddy the good news is that it is Saturday. Or Sunday for some of us.

unfortunately, weekends don't mean much when they're the same as every other day.  hopefully roboboot comes off this week

Pain/stress relief. [thumbsup]

It's a '94 Mazda/Ford badged 4x4 Courier Supercab. 2.6lt 12 valve petrol motor. Goes ok, but needs an extra litre or two! I love it, but I'm easily pleased.

The motor is too small for the chassis, so when you put a big load in them they are very thirsty. Not bad with a small load (1 moto) or taking it easy on the throttle, as long as you drive the torque curve. Mine runs well on Iridium plugs and 95 RON fuel. It doesn't like 91 RON, it pings and gets very bad economy on the base fuel.

gotcha . ..   we had here up to '95 87/89 when 91 was added in '95 87 dissapeared and we then had 89/91 . ..  95 came in '97 . . . so that could have been the reason why they were so thirsty

I think that's part of it for sure. The motor needs another litre though. ;D
