A buddy just bought a brand new F-350 with the new diesel.

I don't understand how he can afford it.

It cost half of what I paid for this house.

I wonder if you can get a New F-350 with an old engine?

It reminds me of a couple of of C-130's we received in our squadron. The were all new from the factory, and not 30 years old like all our support equipment was. Anyway out of five aircraft, two of the airframes we got came from the factory with 2 brand new engines and 2 old TACAMO engines (that looked like they were 30 years old). They were all stained and had nuts that were well worn on them. They leaked and stuff. Then the engine right next to it would be all nice and new, fresh from Allison.

I think you could save a few bucks at Ford by buying a nice new truck with a used or overhauled engine that came  with a 25,000 mile power train warranty or something.

dr wants me to find a new job, i've got bills and only think about the financial side of things.  there's nothing in my field if I stay where I am, so there's no way I'd make similar money.  If I was debt free and not a homeowner this would probably be an easier decision to make
