Time for popcorn and a movie! I was up at 0400, so bedtime is not far away. I envy that Bruce Springsteen song where he says that he is going down to the well tonight to drink his fill. I always stop way short of that. Someone would have to come over and walk Lucy!

My shop was right next to the B-52 flight line. I got a ride in an F-4. I like the sound of jets!

There is a coolness factor to the sound but after a while the sound of afterburners from 2,500 feet away gets a little tiresome.

A-10's don't have any of those.  [thumbsup]

2,500 feet is as close as the 15's get to my house. I feel sorry for the people that live closer to the airport. I wouldn't buy a house in those neighborhoods.
We have some P3's that come down to do touch and goes quite often. They don't make much noise. I'm not so much for loud noises anymore, and my lawn is a nice thing to look at. When people get on it.....
