OH yes, family sucks at times like this . . . when I was down, everybody was "rooting for me" but none took me in since I had no place to live, I lived at a friends balcony couch for about 3 months . . . then I was on the return track and then everyone said "what ever you need, just ask" . . . me, I go my own way

the shitty thing is that they've helped me a TON over the last year... so a part of me feels I owe them.  a big part of me, in fact.

Free from yourself. Family shouldn't put you under undue obligation. We help people without expecting anything in return. Same should be true of Family. Im not saying forget their kindness. Im saying sometimes the prison we are in, we make ourselves.
