Expectations, responsibilities & disappointments (irrespective of whoever has placed them upon us) can certainly be crippling, or a tough hill to climb.

When they've been there a long time, it only makes it harder.

When it's a family or culture that's put them in place, sometimes the only remedy is to escape.

home and pissed  . . . according to sales monkey, since I am "angry at management", I called for these inspections . . . he was saved by the admin assistant that grabbed my arms . . . only someone who has NO brain and that space is filled with methane, at the most, would think that I would want to "leave myself out of a job" . . .

You should take him for ice cream, show him some pictures of your dogs, explain to him how things are with you and your job, try and make friends, explain how its a great place to work, and last but not least, perhaps most importantly, tell him how the company will let you do anything you want on your last day. Anything you want......On your LAST day.
