yeah... doc took one look at it today and was all, "woah. you have shingles."

and I'm apparently right at the contagious point, so I'm not to come into contact w/anyone who has not had chickenpox.

:edit: upside is I get codeine for the pain so I can sleep.

which I should be taking now. but I'm not tired.

Shingles for a birthday present. Sorry to hear man.
Had a girlfriend who used to get them. She once got 'em on the tush, was laid up in bed with a bag of ice on the affected area. Ouch.
